Hanging out with students, I am examining the promenade. For years, the step meant changing direction and a signal on the lady's back. My dancer from a time warp, Vicenzo, remembers this clearly. So Tuesday, I presented both to the tiny class and let them choose. They preferred the new way, saying it looked more natural. Now I get to watch them dance and see how they do.
